FIRST PRESBYTERian CHURCH OF TAOS
We best serve Christ by loving all!

What should I wear?

A: Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable. You will see people dressed in their “Sunday Best” and people wearing jeans.

Can i bring my kids?

A: Please do! We have Sunday school during worship for children and youth (see above). On Communion Sundays, there is no Sunday school, but we still have options for children who have a hard time sitting through worship (see below). Infants and children too young for Sunday school are also welcome and can sit with you through worship, or may be taken into the side room, where parents can still see and participate in worship if your little ones are feeling a bit antsier!

Can I take communion if I’m not Presbyterian? Can my kids take communion?

A: Yes. The Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) believes that the table at which we are served during Communion, or the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper, is Christ’s table, not ours. We welcome all people to the table regardless of and rather in celebration of age, baptismal status, beliefs, race, nationality, profession, gender, sexual orientation, and past or present situation in life. God’s grace extends to all, and we seek to embody a table that is just as open and diverse!
