Rev. Joseph Moore: Preaching on Sunday, May 24th, 2026
Joseph Moore serves as the Ministry Relations Officer for the Southwest Region. He works with congregations to create a culture of generosity, offers seminars and workshops, develops gifts and fundraising plans for ministries, provides coaching to finance, stewardship and endowment committees, and helps congregations discern where the Spirit might be leading as they consider issues around mission, property, and sustainability.
“I am convinced that the Spirit is at work in our Church and stories of hope and faithfulness are the cornerstone of effective ministry and stewardship,” said Joseph. “I am excited to walk with congregations as they explore innovative and effective ways to tell their stories, and to use the expertise and resources of the Presbyterian Foundation to help support their mission and ministry.”
Prior to joining the Foundation, Joseph served as pastor at several churches in Texas and Colorado. In addition to his work at the Foundation, he recently finished serving as moderator of the Presbytery of Plains and Peaks. He is a graduate of Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary and Trinity University (TX). He and his wife Shelley live in Ft. Collins, CO with their three children, Micah, Liam, and Hettie. He loves to fly fish even when he doesn’t catch any fish, which is often the case.

From Pastor Ginna: Interested in helping with Calebcare in June or July?
Hello church family! I can’t believe how quickly the time has gone, but I’ll be back at work in 3 weeks! I’m looking forward to reconnecting with all of you, and introducing you to Baby Caleb, if you haven’t already met him.
Caleb will be going to daycare at UNM Taos Kids’ Campus, but a spot will not open up for him until mid-August. That means he’ll be coming to work with me in June, July, and early August.
In order for me to do my job well and not have constantly divided attention, I’m looking for people to sit with him in the new nursery in my office while I work – we’ll call it Calebcare (patent pending!). I’m in the process of putting together a combination of paid and volunteer help, and I know several of you have offered to babysit, so I’m reaching to see who is interested/available and when.
If you are interested in volunteering to hang with Caleb, would you please email me your interest and availability? I’m looking for coverage on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays between 10 AM and 3 PM and during meetings already on the calendar (so Session meetings, 5-7 PM on the third Thursday, Deacon meetings after church one Sunday a month, etc.).
The church nursery will be set up, and I’ll be on site at all times, so really I just need folks who can come to church and play with him, change diapers, put him down for naps, and either feed him or bring him to me for feedings if I’m not in a meeting. I ask that anyone who sits with him be up to date on vaccines and that you cancel if you aren’t feeling well or are running a fever.
Thank you all so much for your willingness to help and to be part of his church family! I look forward to seeing you all soon!
Ginna

We are so grateful for all those willing to sign up to bring food. Please keep in mind that an offer to bring food is just that, not a guaranteed opportunity for a visit or to meet the baby. Thank you in advance for your willingness to be flexible!
