FACILITY RENTAL

First Presbyterian Church of Taos welcomes use of its beautiful buildings for community benefit. The church reviews community requests for space on a first come, first served space available basis and for alignment with the church mission and vision.

A variety of multi-use, flexible, accessible spaces are available for community use. Free Parking and Wifi. We are also open to new, long-term renters for shared use of the various spaces in our building, ideally nonprofits with interests and missions in common with FPC Taos.

FRONT BUILDING- SANCTUARY

60’ long x 30’ wide

The historic sanctuary designed by New Mexico’s celebrated architect John Gaw Meem is beautiful, bright and features classic wooden vigas and carved corbels. High ceilings, great acoustics and a 6’7” Yamaha concert grand piano make it a wonderful music venue.

Pew seating for 110
$200 per event

22 pews offer seating for 110 people. The church has 30 folding chairs that users can set up in the adjoining fellowship room to expand seating if desired OR the fellowship room can be closed off. Baseboard heat.
Two bathrooms are adjacent. Parking spaces near the front of the church make for easy access for persons with limited mobility.

2 Day Wedding Package

  • Complete front building & dressing room
  • $1,000 for non-members, and $250 for members
  • Add Fellowship Hall & kitchen for reception $500

Church weddings must be performed by Church clergy or other clergy ordained and in good standing within their denomination.

FRONT BUILDING- COFFEE ROOM & KITCHEN

30’ long x 20’ wide

This airy, open space room with ceiling vigas and durable gray carpet is great for receptions after concerts or other events in the sanctuary. Or close off the partitions to the sanctuary for more informal meetings or activities or to use as a green room to support concerts and lectures in the sanctuary. Additional tables, banquet chairs and folding chairs are available if desired.

This sunny galley kitchen with a window counter opening into the Coffee room is great for staging refreshments for meetings or smaller gatherings. Includes refrigerator, double sink, large coffee maker and carafes, along with a First Aid kit and fire extinguisher–just in case.

BACK BUILDING- FELLOWSHIP HALL

This large room can be set up in many ways, with open space, chairs in a circle or theatre style OR tables and chairs in hollow square, horseshoe, herringbone, classroom or family style. One Saturday each in spring and fall, this is the room for the fun Presbyterian Women’s rummage sale. Old upright piano available. Two restrooms, including one wheel-chair accessible, are down the hall. 8 tables and 50 chairs are easy to set up and arrange.

Includes well-lit kitchen with kitchen island, plenty of counter space and simple cabinetry features: 2 electric ovens, 8 burners, 2 microwave ovens, refrigerator, freezer, 2 large sinks, and 2 coffee makers.

PARKING

Free gravel lot parking for about 50 cars is available around the church.

Overflow parking is available on nearby streets or town public lots.
